Who I am
I’m Kyle — a down-to-earth copywriter with a background in psychology and an endless curiosity about people, stories, and what makes them tick.
I’m just your friendly armchair therapist — the guy whose family and friends come to for advice. I must warn you, though, that I’m just as crazy as anyone else. My tinfoil hat starts to show once you get to know me well.
Diving deep into conversations about life, aliens, and the universe is my vibe! If you’re the same, then you’re my kind of person!
I’m most fascinated by people and the stories that shape them. As someone who’s deeply observant, I could spend hours evaluating everything. I look at people and situations like puzzles — and I enjoy discovering missing pieces that reveal the full picture.
Legendary psychologist Carl Jung called this gift ‘introverted intuition’ — the ability to spot patterns most people miss. This form of pattern recognition could be likened to being a fortune teller. However, I don’t look into a crystal ball or read minds (although that would be cool).
For me, it’s like having a mind that’s constantly connecting the dots, which has become my greatest superpower as a copywriter.
After obtaining a Bachelor's in psychology from Georgia State University, I had no clue what I wanted to do next. For years, I was fortunate to have time to figure things out.
On the side, I produced music, mixed vocals, and taught myself sound engineering. This period of my life helped me realize how important it was to balance technical skills with creativity. It’s a lesson I held on to when I finally stumbled upon copywriting.
As a freelancer, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a range of brands — from a music agency, course creators to skincare coaches and gut supplement brands seeking science-backed, emotion-led copy. I’ve even collaborated with a #1 Billboard producer. My curiosity across markets is what allows me to adapt my tone and message to any audience.
I’ve written ad copy, email campaigns, headlines, hooks, stories, and SEO-optimized blog posts. I’ve also collaborated closely with marketing directors to craft on-brand copy that captures attention and gets to the pulse of each message.
Studying psychology taught me how emotion drives decision-making — something I channel into every piece of copy I write. It’s the heartbeat behind words that don’t just speak, but have a pulse.
